Homemade salt scrubs are an excellent gift for Mother's Day, birthdays, or as part of a home spa day gift set for someone special.

Ingredients:

  • 1 quart Epsom salt
  • 1/4 cup coffee, ground
  • 1/3 cup virgin coconut oil
  • Dr Teal's Pure Epsom Salt, 100 percent ground Arabica coffee, and organic virgin coconut oil are used in our recipe.

Instructions:

This coffee body scrub has only three ingredients, making it quick and simple to make.

In a mixing bowl, combine the Epsom Salt and ground coffee.

Before adding coconut oil to your mixing bowl, liquify it. Place it in a microwave-safe bowl and melt it for 15 seconds at a time. It will become hot quickly, so take it out after 15 seconds and stir it; you will notice that it will continue to melt as you stir.

Make sure the liquid is cool before adding it to the Epsom salts and coffee grounds to avoid dissolving the salt or coffee grounds.
